Kingsdown Holiday Homes

In the surrounding area:

Kent is known as the Garden of England and Kingsdown is perfectly placed to experience all that the County has to offer. Situated on the coast with its private beach, your chalet can be the gateway to explore as far or as near as you wish.

Nearby Walmer and Deal are full of coastal charm, and accessible along the coastal road, taking in the historic Walmer Castle where Wellington resided for 23 years and also passed away. Further afield, St Margaret's cliff walks are breathtaking and there is plenty of countryside and coast to explore.

The magnificent Norman Castle in Dover with its wartime tunnels is fascinating, with history dating back to Henry the Eighth. The historical Cathedral city of Canterbury is only 16 miles away and well worth a visit.

On the North Kent coast you can taste the oysters in Whistable or visit the delightful Broadstairs with its sandy bay. Sandwich, one of the Cinque Ports is a 'must see' - see if you can find 'No Name' street!

The ferry to Calais from Dover harbour is only about 15 minutes away, so why not book a day trip to France in advance?
